The Case-Book Of Sherlock Holmes (Collins Classics) is a compilation of the last twelve stories of the famous detective, Sherlock Holmes and his companion, Dr Watson. This book, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, features some of the most unusual and villainous characters conjured up by the author. The book portrays the disenchanting era of the 1920s. The physical disfigurements and mental derangements that are described in many stories point to the crisis of the first World War.

When a mystery seems unsolvable, Sherlock Holmes and his companion, Dr Watson, always manage to unveil the truth. They solve twelve cases that surprise and baffle everybody involved. This book involves stories such as The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire, The Adventure of the Illustrious Client, The Problem of Thor Bridge, The Adventure of the Lion’s Mane and so on.
