Puffin is a children’s book imprint of Penguin Random House, one of the largest publishing companies in the world. Puffin was founded in the UK in 1940 by Kaye Webb, and it has since become one of the most recognizable names in children’s publishing. The imprint is known for publishing a wide range of books for children of all ages, including picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, and young adult fiction.

Puffin has published many beloved and award-winning books, including classics like “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle, “Charlotte’s Web” by E.B. White, and “The Secret Garden” by Frances Hodgson Burnett, as well as contemporary bestsellers like “The Hunger Games” by Suzanne Collins, “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio, and “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green.

In addition to publishing books, Puffin also runs various programs and initiatives to encourage reading and promote literacy among children, such as the Puffin Schools website, which provides resources and teaching materials for educators, and the Puffin Virtually Live events, which bring authors and illustrators to classrooms via livestream.
