Shambhala Publications is an independent publisher of books on spirituality, mindfulness, meditation, and related topics. It was founded in 1969 by Samuel Bercholz and Michael Fagan, with the goal of publishing books that would help people find inner peace and understanding.

Shambhala Publications is particularly known for its publications on Buddhism, including the writings of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the founder of Shambhala Buddhism. However, the publisher also covers a wide range of other spiritual traditions, including Taoism, Hinduism, and Christianity, among others.

In addition to books, Shambhala Publications also produces audio and video programs, as well as online courses and workshops, to help people deepen their understanding of spirituality and mindfulness. The publisher is committed to promoting ethical business practices and environmental sustainability, and many of its books are printed on recycled paper using soy-based ink.
