Brianne Keith is a writer and editor with a degree in English literature from Boston University and a master’s degree in English literature from University of Massachusetts, Boston. A longtime lover of Thoreau, she serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of The Thoreau Society, one of the oldest societies devoted to an American author. She continues to write on Thoreau, and other subjects in American literature, in her free time. She lives in Belmont, MA.
