About the Author
D. Venkatesh MD is serving as Professor and Head at the Department of Physiology, M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, students. He has published/presented more than 90 scientific papers in national and international journals and conferences. He is a recipient of FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research, Philadelphia, USA) fellowship for innovation in medical education and the recipient of National Best Teacher’s Award from the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India. He is on the Editorial Board of several journals and is also a member of the National Scientific Advisory Committee of the Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India. He also serves as an examiner at both UG and PG levels.
