She has worked as a guest faculty at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU); nutritionist at CSIR; program in-charge for MSc (dietetics and food service management) at IGNOU; lecturer for BSc (home science) in Anna Adarsh Women’s College; dietetian in Aruna Diabetes Center and Global Hospital and Health City,Chennai.She obtained her MSc (nutrition and dietetics) from Mother Theresa University for Women, Kodaikkanal; MSc (yoga) from SRM University; and MPhil (foods and nutrition) from Vellalar College for Women,Erode.
